Dr. Joseph Crumbley, received his masters and doctorate in social work from the University of Pennsylvania and has served for more than 40 years in private practice as a family therapist, trainer, and consultant. Through his work with kinship caregivers, he has created a five-part video training series: “Engaging Kinship Caregivers: Managing Risk Factors in Kinship Care.” The training series strengthen the skills of child welfare professionals in supporting families to improve outcomes for children in kinship care. The discussion guide is to help program directors, supervisors, and trainers deepen the learning experience for kinship caregivers, support systems, and caseworkers.
